Today is my mom's 60th birthday.  In hopes of surprising her, I ordered flowers for her from all us kids and grandkids.  I underestimated my father though.  After placing the order, I had to call them back to add my dad to the list only to find out that he sent her roses.  What can I say, after 40 years of marriage, I'm impressed that he is still romantic.

On another note, we've been doing parent teacher conferences this week and I'm convinced they are trying to freeze us to death.  Soooo frickin' cold in the gym and I'm wearing cords and a sweater... still cold.  Also, in 8 hours of conferences, I've had 15 students come.  That's less than half of the students the math teacher sitting next to me had the first night... pretty bad.

What to say... What to say...  My name is Jeanne and this summer I got married to the love of my life John.  We have 2 cats:  Spud and Hucklebaby.  I'm pretty sure no one is going to read this and I really don't know what I will be writing about.  Somethings that affect me are my weight, my family, my nephew Benny who is currently fighting Leukemia, and teaching special ed.  Currently, we're hoping to have children but as of yet we've had no luck in that area.  So over time, I will probably be talking about any or all of these topics.
